In a surprise move, Masters Historic Racing has tied up with the FIA World Endurance Championship for this summer's WEC round at Spa. The August 13-15 weekend will see the Aston Martin Masters Endurance Legends line up in two 40-minute races supporting the Total 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps main event, in an exciting new collaboration between the world's top sportscar championship and Europe's leading historic organiser.

In previous seasons, the Aston Martin Masters Endurance Legends already formed part of the European Le Mans Series' support programme on several occasions, but this will be the first time that the Aston Martin Masters Endurance Legends will bring their 1995-2015 Le Mans cars to the championship that also comprises the Le Mans 24 Hours for which the cars were originally designed.

At Spa, the Aston Martin Masters Endurance Legends will have four sets of 40-minute track time that include a Thursday free practice session, qualifying and race one on Friday, and a second race on Saturday.

It's an added bonus that we are able to surprise our drivers with a double treat of Spa this year!**

The two WEC Spa support races form the second round of an Aston Martin Masters Endurance Legends calendar that already boasts rounds at Donington Park (July 18-19), Zandvoort (September 4-6), the historic Spa Six Hours (September 25-27) and the Monza ELMS round (October 9-11). With the addition of another round at Spa, the calendar is back to its original five rounds, despite the COVID-19 crisis leading to postponement of the original Monza date and cancellation of the Paul Ricard round.
